The developer stated that the upcoming DLC, titled State of Decay: Breakdown will become available on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam next Friday, November 29, 2013 and will be priced at $6.99. As the studio explained, the expansion is going to de-emphasize story and storytelling and direct survival will be the main focus this time around. On their official website, the company wrote, “Less story, more survival. Long-term survival. More difficulty. New achievements, survivors, and weapons.”

The popular game’s fourth update is also scheduled to go live on the same day and will be addressing a number of bugs, while adding some new features, such as a loot system at the same time. In addition to that, a completely remappable keyboard feature will become available for the PC version, just a couple of days before both the update and DLC go live.
