Games Official: Release of ‘The Darkness 2’ video game for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 has been announced and it has been said, it will make it to the stores by the fall of 2011. The Darkness gained a lot of popularity, where the user is a first person shooter playing the role of Jackie Estacado. Even this time Jackie will be on a mission to destroy the creatures from the dark side.
It earned handsomely after it was launched in the year 2007, and was one of the few games which fell in the category of horror genre. The Darkness 2 is the sequel to the previous game and this begins two years into the future, exactly from where the last game ended.
2K, the game developer is expecting the same sort of response from the gamers, which it had received two years back. There many new features which will be coming up in the latest game, and this is quite exciting. The game will be compatible on many devices including the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles.
