PlayStation fans will have something to cheer about now that the company has released a set of perks for the North American market. According to reports, users of PlayStation Vita will be able to get Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for free. The offer will start on January 29, 2013. The offers do not end at Madden 13 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. Gamers will be able to get Gatling Gears, Section 8: Prejudice and Greed Corp at half rate. The technology giant has gone on to mention that there will also be offers on subscription. For example, if users purchase a one-year subscription of PlayStation Plus, they will get an extra 3 months without incurring any charges. This means that a user can avail of 15 months of PlayStation Plus subscription for the cost of 12 months. However, the subscription will need to be purchased before March 4, 2013.

There are a variety of benefits of having a PlayStation Plus account and Sony uses these benefits to keep their customers interested. In 2012 for instance, if a user bought a PlayStation Plus account for USD 50, they could have saved around USD 2,472 in the form of discounted and free games. This is one way for Sony to rise above the competition.
