Bloodborne to release in North America on February 6, 2015


Sony Computer Entertainment announces PS4-exclusive Bloodborne release date in North America – February 6, 2014.

The new game by From Software, Bloodborne has got a release date for North America. The game will release in the USA and Canada on February 6, 2014, just one day after its Japan release. Bloodborne is coming out exclusively on PlayStation 4. The announcement was made by Sony Computer Entertainment via a blog post.


The game will retail from $59.99 and those who want the collector’s edition will have to shell out $79.99. The collector’s edition of the game will come with a Steelbook collector’s case, a digital copy of the game’s soundtrack and an art book featuring concept art.

Bloodborne is an action role-playing game that is developed by From Software and is published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Sony and From Software released a gameplay trailer at the Tokyo Game Show 2014. The video shows Bloodborne’s online gameplay that allows cooperative and asynchronous play among online players.

Bloodborne is set in the fictional ancient city of Yharnam which is plagued by a deadly epidemic. The video shows ‘messengers’, who are otherworldly creatures that bring messages to your hunter in Bloodborne. 

Sony Europe started sending out invitations to choose fans that will take part in the game’s alpha testing.

From Software is a game developer most famous for the development of Dark Souls. Bloodborne was announced by them at the E3 earlier this year.
