US-based video game publisher Activision’s latest instalment in its famous Call of Duty franchise, the highly-anticipated Call of Duty: Ghosts will be getting a limited Collector’s Edition and it has been confirmed that players can already pre-order it. In addition to that, Call of Duty fans will be able to choose between two Collector’s Editions: the Hardened Edition and the Prestige Edition.
The Hardened Edition will feature a number of collectible physical items, as well as special digital content which will help players to customize the multiplayer experience. This edition will come with a collectable steelbook, a paracord strap, an additional dynamic map ‘Free Fall’, a Season Pass and other digital content, including player cards, player patch, themed player backgrounds and the Call of Duty: Ghosts official soundtrack.
Just like every year, the Prestige Edition is Collector’s Edition at its best. This version will have the same features as the Hardened Edition, but will also come with a shock-proof, water-resistant, mountable 1080p HD Tactical Camera which features a 170° wide angle lens its three additional attachments will enable players to take it with them anywhere they go.
In order to celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts, Activision will be having a Double EXP weekend, which will be held from November 8, 2013 until November 11, 2013. The upcoming game is scheduled to be released in November 2013 on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC and Wii U.
